Relaxing and Packing

Today is our last full day at the Hotel Shion. We’re separating out the dirty clothes from the Omiyage, condensing it down enough to repack into our bags. We each have an international carryon and a small backpack for this 18 day trip and we still think there was stuff we could have left behind. It’s a rainy day so it pack some, relax some, go back to the private Onsen and get ready for another formal dinner. Speaking of dinners, this was Elizabeths portion.

From the hotel: “We offer a Japanese kaiseki meal featuring an abundance of seasonal ingredients nurtured by the rich natural environment of Iwate Prefecture. Enjoy the colorful “Kokyosai Gozen,” where each dish is carefully prepared to showcase the flavors of the season.”

And back to relaxing.
